For the past month or so, in between university exams, a two week vacation and other affairs, this blog has been left up in the air. Having almost finished the summer, however, a change of schedule in my daily plans will hopefully lead to a more active life on this blog as well.
I will finally start posting regular weekly and monthly features and will also write more frequent reviews on new and old movies. Before that however, I will try to cover the Toronto Internationl Film Festival.
The festival will kick off next Thursday and on top of working there, I'm looking forward to catching a few movies on screen. My plan is to watch, at the very least, Black Swan (already opened to rave reviews earlier this week in Venice), Another Year (with equally rave reviews coming from Cannes), Cannes' champ, Uncle Boonmee who can recall his past lives, as well as Of Gods and Men, and The Illusionist. Hopefully work and school schedules won't interfere with the screenings for any of these five films.
